Could you give a little more information?

Like which Hardware do you use?
Did you try to set the Settings to low?
Did you close every other program that could use a lot of your CPU?
Were you able to play the game before without lags?
- If yes, did you change something in your system?

And finally, did you try to reinstall the game?

Iv the same problem, fps are nice but it freezes every 5 sec.. reinstall didint help, low sett too, everything closed and still bad

Did you try to disable your antivirus?

And you could try the compatibility mode with Win XP (Service Pack 2) or something like that.


And if this still doesn't work, you could try to put the d3d9.dll into your 4Ancient folder.
Even if it's a Win10-Fix, it might work on Win7 aswell.

Same, have these fps drops since patch 1.7.8 went live.

I have the same issue, would be nice if someone came up with a solution. Using win 7 64bit if that helps

u can buy windows 10 key on ebay 2-4€, soon or later u will have to change ure system anyway if u wanna use ure computer even for basic stuff

It probably won't fix the issue either, I still crash during pvp and lag pretty often (even more with the new patch) and I'm on win 10

I made a ticket, all I got answered was that I have to update to windows 10 and they closed the ticket.

Windows 7 will lose support even from Microsoft itself. Practically they'll force everyone to update to windows 10 in about one year. Since the 90% of people playing on 4Ancient play on Windows 10 and Windows will practically shut down Windows 7, we are focusing on improving the game for Windows 10. That's why we suggest you to update to Windows 10.

Had win 10 and win 8 earlier, after installing win 7 every single game is running much smoother. Everything after win 7 is pretty much shit if youre using computer for gaming.

I was a Windows 7 fan. After upgrading to Windows 10 everything on my pc runned a lot smoother, i guess everyone has his own preferences
